Pa Salieu Announces Debut Mixtape 'Send Them To Coventry' With "Block Boy" Visuals
Coventry artist Pa Salieu is on a creative roll.
A week after dropping visuals for "B***k", he's since announced his debut mixtape, Send Them To Coventry, will be dropping November 13. Following previous singles "Dem A Lie", "Frontline", "Betty", "Bang Out", "My Family" and "B***K" (which will all appear on the project), next up are the visuals for "Block Boy".
As ever, Salieu comes through with a commanding delivery, meshing elements of dancehall, UK rap and sounds from his native Gambia. "Block Boy" is an excitable number, packing hard-hitting lyrics seasoned with patois. Style is key in the visuals and the Nos-directed visuals bring the surging energy of "Block Boy" to the front, bathing the rapper in saturated tones and throwing it back to pre-COVID club settings.
