South London's Oogie Comes With A Latin Twist On New Single "Drillers"

April 22, 2021

Having made noise with leading single "Try" from his debut project, Somehow It Makes Sense (set for release April 30), South London artist Oogie presents his new head-whipping and mosh-pit-ready track, "Drillers".

Distorted Latin-infused instrumentals meet with a smooth flow from the emerging talent, his lyrics running like water on the production. Taking it to another level, Oogie lights up the hook with enthralling and vociferous chants to mimic the gunshots of the "real drillers in the house".

The visuals by Ethan Barrett capture the chaotic, ear-hooking aura of the rapper, paralleled with chopped-up, speedy shots of Oogie with his frequent collab partners, a stuffed monkey and a bottle of wine.

For something to body-drop or salsa to, or even both, listen to "Drillers" below.
