Ojerime Reminds Us Of Her Formidable Talent With Nostalgic R&B Jam "Jetset"
The last we heard from Ojerime, she was gracing the COLORS stage with her smooth wave of R&B on "Often Enough". Now she's returned with a new visual to her latest dreamy offering, "Jetset".
Held together by warped guitar licks and a thumping bass line, Ojerime flaunts her free-flowing melodies over the instrumental from producer JSTRNGS. Through her songwriting and vocal textures she transports us to an audio-visual world that is uniquely her own, once again proving she's a force to be reckoned with in R&B,
The visuals, which come from director Dylan Hayes, replicate the haziness of the production, taking a more abstract approach to her '90s-inspired aesthetics that can be spotted in videos like "Greasy" or "I Know Now". Illuminated by warm hues of orange and green, the video also features a cameo from fellow London artist Rasharn Powell.
While Ojerime continues her ascend as an underground entity, kick back to "Jetset" below.
