NSG Tap Into Amapiano Influences For Debut Album Extract "Nella Rose"
NSG have been flying the flag for Afroswing from day one and they've never really strayed from that wheelhouse before. However, on their new single, "Nella Rose", they've dipped their toe into the Amapiano sound that's been ringing off for a while now.
Produced by 4Play, Rise N Shine, and BGRZ, "Nella Rose" taps into the same feel-good vibe that NSG have mastered. It's also the first single from their debut album, Area Boyz, set for release on October 20.
Directed by Don Prod, the visual captures a block party taking place and channels the same uplifting energy that surges through the song. This was supposedly the decision of NSG themselves, who decided to spend the budget allocated for the video on something that their community could enjoy.
Speaking on that mission, they share: "This is the first single release from our debut album. 'Nella Rose' is a fun, energetic, friendly song which blends our usual style with Amapiano. Be ready to get your dancing shoes on as this is one of our special songs that once you press play you're definitely going to move your body."
