It's fair to say that Novelist probably couldn't have asked for a better year. Having released his debut album and received a Mercury Prize nomination for it (he also performed at the event), the MC's stock has certainly risen, and he's done it all on his own terms. Surprisingly, he's done all of this without even dropping a single video from the project, but that's all changed now as he's released dark and minimalist visuals for album highlight "Dot Dot Dot". Filmed in Manchester, the video is shot entirely in black and white, with Nov saying that "the inspiration behind the video was to provoke thought and listening. There is a vignette on the whole video to emulate a thought or having a vision."
