Nines Released A Short Film Featuring J Hus, MoStack, Ghetts, Mist And, Frankly, He Needs A Movie Deal

April 19, 2018

Earlier this month, Nines dropped the video for his latest well-received single "I See You Shining". The new cut came with some chart-troubling production from Steel Banglez and Zeph Ellis and seemed to be preoccupied with crop circles.

Then, last night, he dropped a new short film to give us an idea of what's in store when the album drops this Friday, April 20 (or 4/20 if you're that way inclined). The 25-minute short film was written and directed by Nines himself and previews some of the tracks that will appear on the album.

It's an impressive outing for the rapper and combines humour, drama and some genuinely touching moments as he takes us through various brief tales in and around his Church End Estate. Frankly, after this, we really need to see Nines signing some sort of film deal because we would watch the hell out of a Nines-directed feature length movie.

Updated: the album has now been released.
