Just a few days ahead of her upcoming EP, Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against Tha Wall, woman of the moment, Nia Archives, has just dropped the title track as a single.

Sunny and lucid, with a fragile piano melody, sung refrain and some harsh breakbeats, the title takes inspiration from that crash back to reality that comes at the end of the party when the sun breaks and brutally lets you know it's time to go home. As the track goes on, we then get some intermittent voice recordings of what we can assume are Nia's friends and family, bringing the song to a wholesome conclusion.

Judging by the cover art and tracklist she posted to Instagram, "Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against Wall" will most likely be the closing track from the project of the same name. The new EP will be Nia's first project since racking up acclaim and accolades for her outings in 2022. Last year saw her win Best Dance/Electronic Act at the MOBO Awards, DJ Mag Award for Best Breakthrough DJ as well as the BBC Music Introducing Award for Artist of the Year.
