Newham's TiZ East Comes Out Swinging On 'T-Rapping' EP Extract "Long Way"

January 29, 2020

Having broadened his horizons dramatically over the last couple of years (in part a response to content crackdowns), TiZ East's last few singles have seen him exemplify versatility, adding Afrobeats, dancehall and straight-up rap to his sound.

The latest offering is "Long Way", the second single to be taken from his recent T-Rapping EP following "Hotline Bling" earlier this month. Built around a timeless rap swagger, "Long Way" carries with it a bouncy rhythm and big infectious chorus to make sure this one stays on rotation for the foreseeable future.

Visuals come from increasingly sought-after director Romael who brings the track to life with cleverly woven shots of TiZ at the barbers and on the block.
