It has just been announced that the team behind Top Boy will be begin filming a brand new season for Netflix this spring. This season sees Ashley Walters, Kano, Little Simz and BAFTA-winning star Micheal Ward resuming their respective roles as Dushane, Sully, Shelley and Jamie.

With the help of Drake, Top Boy was revived by Netflix last year after the initial series was cancelled by Channel 4 in 2013, becoming one of the streaming service's most watched series of 2019.

The drama, set in East London, follows Dushane and Sully attempting to survive and conquer 'Summmerhouse Estate', and as the anticipation for the new season builds, we can expect more deep-cutting and reflective stories from the hit British show.
