Native James is back with his new single, "Never Been Scared", furthering his grime-infused nu-metal sound with a feature from Frisco.

It hits like a freight train right from the first second, matching chugging guitar riffs with whipsmart grime lyricism. Comparisons have always been made between grime and punk and metal, but never has the combo been so well-matched.

It's not Native James' first crossover collab either; last year, he called on Professor Green and Double S for "Block (RR)". In fact, he recently brought Frisco and Professor Green to Download Festival to perform these tracks live.

"'Never Been Scared' is what it says on the tin," says Native James. "This song is for people who have felt a time where they needed to overcome something, whether that be your personal best, an exam, getting up to to face challenges at work, life itself… It's a power play to your internal, to remind yourself you can overcome whatever you want."
