Nammy Wams Drops Off 'Paradise South' 10-Tracker Via Bok Bok's New AP Life Label

March 29, 2021

Night Slugs co-founder Bok Bok has been busy of late. Besides some monumental radio appearances, he's also just founded a new label, AP Life, and we've now got it's first release courtesy of Croydon FM regular Nammy Wams.

Paradise South is a 10-track beat tape of sorts, pulling together all the sounds you can usually hear in his radio shows. For the most part, the sliding 808s and hi-hat triplets of UK drill form the back bone, but to that he's also added moments of grime and a few other sounds along the way.

A deft balance of heavyweight bass and ominous atmospherics, you can absolutely bet this will be well-mined by rappers and MCs in the coming months. But for now, hit play on the album below and look out for more from Nammy Wams and the AP Life crew, because word has it there's plenty more where this came from.
