Multi-talented creative Mustafa, aka Mustafa The Poet, is most commonly known for his anti-gun violence short film, Remember Me Toronto, which featured global superstar Drake, and now he's released his debut single "Stay Alive".

Aided by production from James Blake and Frank Dukes, on "Stay Alive", he continues that thread, using his soulful voice to spark conversation and raise awareness about gun crime. Meanwhile, in the background, a fragile guitar melody draws the listener into his thoughtful lyrics.

In the "Stay Alive" visuals, we see Mustafa on his home turf of Regents Park, Toronto, surrounded by his friends and community, framing the violence as an issue concerning not just individuals but the whole neighbourhood.
