Mnelia has followed up the triumph of her recently released project, Closure Tapes, with a video for the "Genesis (Remix)". The track is an all-star, all-girl affair, with fellow UK songstresses Bellah and Miraa May, and California-repping Joyce Wrice all featured on the new version. Each wearing their own bespoke denim fit, each of the four takes their turn reminding a past flame of the trust between them that had been broken and what they've lost out on.

The Sahra Zadat-directed video is far from mournful though; instead, it's a joyful recognition of self-worth and of better things to come, making it a perfect visual for the final track on Mnelia's Closure Tapes EP.

It's also awesome to see the UK and US teaming up in the R&B space; Joyce Wrice's feature is hopefully a sign of more trans-Atlantic collabs to come. Watch the video for the "Genesis (Remix)" below.
