Following her recent appearance on Miraa May's debut album Tales Of A Miracle on the track "Tight Tight", Mnelia drops her first single of the year, "Closure".

The delicate soundscape was crafted by producer Naso Apollo who brings together a number of simple grooves to accompany Mnelia's powerful lyricism. It's about realising it's no good waiting on an answer in order to move on from a situation and that perhaps closure is something you give to yourself. Empowered by this conclusion, Mnelia creates an uplifting moment for herself and her listeners.

On the track, she comments: "'Closure' is about the fact that no such thing exists. All we have is the choice to move on and do right by ourselves. I wanted to convey this message and let people know that although it may be difficult to accept, the growth is worth the pain…"

The North Londoner drew our attention with her silky vocals back in 2018 with her debut project 2:4 and it's been a beautiful journey since then. Click play on "Closure".
