Hailing from North West London, R&B newcomer Mnelia only debuted in 2018 (with the sultry, late night collection 2:4), but she already knows exactly where she's headed. After revisiting her summer drop "Say Yeah" for a stripped-back acoustic version last week, she's just dropped her new EP, After 6.

With a sound steeped in classic R&B hallmarks and splashed with a healthy dose of 2020 futurism, the new EP builds on her previous output with a marked progression. In the accompanying press release she explains that she's spent a staggering 10,000 hours honing her craft with producer StevieBeatz over the past two years and the results are plain to hear.

Alongside the EP she also released the visuals for lead track "Shoot", a smooth yet commanding reminder she's not to be underestimated. Bathed in deep red lighting, the video is the perfect high-end introduction to a blossoming talent on the cusp of a takeover.
