Miraa May Embraces Her Algerian Roots And London Upbringing On Five-Track 'Care Package'

December 03, 2018

Her last project was her debut EP N15 back in 2016, but as we head into 2019, Miraa May has delivered a Care Package in the form of a new five-track EP in which the Tottenham-raised artist houses her airy vocals over R&B and tropical-house inspired instrumentals.

Although she has worked with high profile names such as Wiley and Chip, her projects thus far have been solo affairs. The new project embraces her Algerian roots, while also acknowledging the effect London has had on her life (she even includes Arabic in some of the songs). Tackling subject matter such as personal demons, relationships and self-confidence, the project is an honest, introspective and relatable body of work that should tide fans over into the new year.
