Mikill Pane Travels Across Land And Sea For Romesh Ranganathan In "Mike's Back" Video

July 01, 2019

It hasn't been too long since Mikill Pane made his triumphant return with The Night Elm On Mare Street and, with the announcement of an album of the same name due on July 5 (his second album), he's back once more with the second single from the project with "Mike's Back" featuring comedian Romesh Ranganathan.

The video starts off with Romesh asking him where he's been over a voicemail message, telling him that he should get back to rapping, before Mikill then undertakes a voyage across land and see in order to get back to his friend. Lyrically, he talks about what he's learned and observed through his endeavours outside of rap and why he's returning, all while showing off the lyrics like I've got hard to reach bars, you're a kiddy park, reminding us why he's such a highly rated name in UK rap.
