M.I.C And PK Brako Are Here To Violate Family Members On "Witchclart" And "Night Raid"

June 01, 2020

Anyone who caught M.I.C, PK Brako and Jawnino's Just Jam session at the tail end of 2018 already know how much damage the Master of Inane Conversation can do with a microphone.

One of the things that made that set so perfect was the North London emcee's gift for inspired insults — I'll dump on your brand new whip / If you get a terminal illness, I will pull out the IV drip and later, I'll dougie on your grave / I will twerk on your tombstone — and you'll be pleased to hear he's brought that exact same energy to his new two-tracker "Witchclart" / "Night Raid".

Those very same bars make their way into "Witchclart", backed by a dreamy, space-age instrumental from PK Brako, and they're no less devastating, giving us what is essentially one non-stop quotable.

Self-produced "Night Raid", meanwhile, switches things up with a rapid-fire drum line beneath his slow-and-steady delivery. Combining the two for a truly unsettling atmosphere, if you've ever suffered from insomnia, this might sound eerily familiar.

Both tracks, along with the "Witchclart" instrumental, are out now.
