Having previously supported the likes of Skepta, Stormzy and Kano, and currently supporting D Double E on tour, Nottingham MC Mez has proven that when it comes to the new school of grime, he's one of the leaders of the pack. After teasing its release with a remix to Skepta's "Nasty" earlier this year, it should come as little surprise that he's finally come through with his Tyrone 2 EP. Over 11 tracks, the 21-year-old channels the spirit of the original grime sound while bringing in elements of what inspires him personally.

The mixture of flows, wordplay and energy highlights his skill as an MC, while also leaving you scratching your head since it's clear that he can only get better from here. The sole feature on the project comes from D Double E while production is handled by Grandmixxer, Sir Spyro, Diamondz et al, showing that the young star is highly rated in the scene.
