Maverick Sabre is back with his new single, "8 Stages".

Co-produced by Mav with Ben Mckone, the tracks open with a low-slung, spoken word-style performance as he sets the scene for an exploration of loss, the impermanence of life, and regret.

Thumbing through memories of his past, Mav looks back on the people who have drifted in and out of his life, either because they've lost touch or because they've passed away. It's a bittsersweet piece, though; one that takes care remember happier times and cast a hopeful eye towards the future.
