Following the smooth R&B sweetener "Whenever You're Ready", Mahalia is back and this time she's brought along AJ Tracey to help her seek revenge on new track "Roadside".

The production is handled by The Elements who deliver a gentle Afro-pop bounce for Mahalia's vocals to glide over as she shows us how to stay resilient after a tough breakup. AJ Tracey soon enters the scene with his own take on heartbreak, adding a fresh perspective to Mahalia's story.

The visuals to "Roadside" sees the R&B star running a burger truck where her ex happens to be her first customer, which gives her time to smash his car to pieces all while delivering tightly choreographed dance moves.

Speaking on "Roadside", Mahalia shares: "I've kinda been excited about releasing this one since I started writing it. Fresh out of a breakup, I made this one with The Elements and two of my favourite girls and songwriters Abby (Absolutely) and Kamille. We had so much fun writing and making this together. Getting AJ on it was the cherry on top for me. I've wanted to work with him forever and I was so happy that it could be on this tune. I hope you love it!"
