Launching into 2024, rising talent Maaz has blessed with a new five-track EP titled Antithesis.

All the myriad subsections and subgenres within rap are key to the scene's rude health right now, but there's still plenty of space in the market for a spitter with a clear message and the technical skills to match. Stepping into that gap, Maz uses Antithesis to introduce himself to the game with bar after bar of thoughtful, insightful hip-hop.

Offering some of the most personal stories of the year so far, Maaz paints a picture of his Clapton living with HD clarity and skillful use of melody. Antithesis is Maaz's second EP, following 2021's Writer's Block. In between, he's been sharpening his steel at cyphers—including Link Up TV's Too Conscious For Nonsense session—and it's all led to this EP, take it in below.
