M1llionz Toasts 'Provisional Licence' Release With Visuals For AJ Tracey-Assisted Title Track

September 17, 2021

The arrival of M1llionz's debut Provisional Licence was keenly awaited by hungry fans and it's safe to say that the Birmingham rapper has delivered a round of quality, genre-blending tracks in this project.

Alongside the tape, M1llionz has also dropped off visuals for the title track, which see the Lagga Barse channel his old school R&B influences with a sample of Brandy and Monica's "The Boy Is Mine" on The Fanatix-produced instrumental. Over the wobbly bass and choppy percussion, M1llionz and AJ Tracey take turns bouncing rhymes back and forth, spurring each other on with some lyrical one-upmanship. In the accompanying visuals, the pair are captured by director Kelvin Jones, posted amongst classic Cadillac cars for some well-earned flexing.

The mixtape houses only a few features, restricting guest appearances to Headie One, Lotto Ash, AJ Tracey and Jevon, who each add their individual flair to the stories that unfold on the project. Packed with an overflow of musical influences that he translates into his music — including a play on "Billie Jean" for moshpit anthem "Mobbin" — M1llionz continues to set himself apart as one of the most versatile and distinctive rappers in UK music.

Press play on the video below and then take in the new mixtape at the bottom.
