Louis Culture Enjoys A Night Of Romance In "Grime" Visuals
With his debut EP around the corner, Louis Culture indulges in a long night of romantic adventures in the video for his latest drop, "Grime".
The production takes us on a journey through Culture's tunnel of influences, channelling more dancefloor-inspired layers into this offering, which he co-produced with Karma Kid. Displaying great lyrical charm, he bounces over the beat and introduces a memorable hook inviting that special someone to spend the night together and forget all about the outside world.
Directed by Tyrus, the visuals capture Culture enjoying his night, hopping from one spot to the next with drinks flowing every now and then. To accompany the swift beat change towards the end, he catches the night bus for some downtime to decompress after his wild night.
"On one hand when I hear the beat I hear Dilla and Kanye, then on the other hand it's Kaytranada meets Jungle," Louis comments. "Karma Kid and I made this around two years ago but for a long time it was just the chorus. I feel like I only just found the right words to say this year. Feel like it took some more living."
"Grime" arrives after the crowd-stirring "Twiss", set to arrive on his upcoming EP When Life Presents Obstacle on November 25.
