Little Simz Is A Giant Preaching To The Masses In Artful 'NO THANK YOU' Short Film

Her surprise recent album NO THANK YOU still ringing in our ears, Little Simz returns with a riveting visual accompaniment for the album, produced by Inflo and filmed by Gabriel Moses.

The visual features album cuts "Heart On Fire", "X", "Silhouett", "Sideways" and "Broken" where Simz's immersive lyricism provides an expansive scope for symbolism to be explored. She takes on the form of a giant in the opening scene, preaching to a congregation interrupted by archive snippets of Black people protesting.

Experimenting with an arthouse aesthetic, Simz is placed in a number of settings like an eerie-looking well of water, the backseat of a car battered by pouring rain, and a moment of glamour as she stares at her reflection surrounded by greedy consumers of the art.

Last year's album I Love You, I Hate You was also treated to a dreamy short film and she continues creating her own canon of music and visuals with NO THANK YOU, this time through a film noir-inspired lens. Take a look below.
