If there's one thing the legend that is Little Simz is guaranteed to do, it's serve instant classics. Her new single "Introvert", an explosive and ferocious introduction to her upcoming album, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, is evidence of exactly that.

The track opens with thundering drums, strings, and horns, knitted together with operatic background vocals and it's enough to bring you to your knees. Credit must go to producer Inflo who provides the perfect entryway to the rapper's provoking discussion of the harsh modern experience of the Black British woman.

Completing the track, director Salomon Ligthelm offers up breathtaking cinematic visuals with a choreographed dance by Kloe Dean in the empty Natural History Museum with Little Simz at the centre of it all. Flawlessly cut shots and images act as a detailed, moving collage to the Black British experience. Taken together, it builds up to be nothing short of a paralysing and spellbinding performance from the maestra.

The 19-track piece includes the likes of Cleo Sol, Obongjayar, and The Crown actress Emma Corrin out Spetember 3.
