Mercury Prize-nominated artist Lianne La Havas has returned with her blissful new single "Bittersweet", her first solo release since 2015.

In "Bittersweet", the singer-songwriter showcases her powerful vocals with a tale of defiance as she rekindles her love for music after her five-year hiatus.

Commenting on the track, she explained: "I'd forgotten how much I love singing. I've tapped into the best and worst parts of me and while I didn't expect this to be the direction of my new music, it's my reality and it's driven by emotion."
