Manchester Rhymer LayFullStop Gives Thanks In Calming "Receipts" Video

August 02, 2021

It's been a quick minute since we last heard from Manchester's LayFullStop. After filling 2019 with three singles and a striking COLORS session, she went a little quiet in 2020, but now she's back with new single "Receipts" as well as news of a new mixtape, STiR.

Produced by Superbeats, "Receipts" is a gloriously calming piece of soulful hip-hop perfectly suited to those scorching summer days that are too hot to do anything at all. Just as effortlessly stylish as the track itself, the video from Aimfilms captures Lay in some razor sharp suitß, vibing in the North West countryside with her equally well-dressed friends.

The track, she explains, is a show of thanks for everything that's gone right in her life: "Receipts are proof of a transaction," she says, "and God's given me a whole load of goodness that I've never had to pay for."

The new single is taken from her upcoming mixtape, STiR. While we wait on an official release date, take a look at the "Receipts" visuals below.
