Lancey Foux has released his new album, THE TIME OF OUR LIVES, his first solo studio album in four years.

The new album sees the East London star continue to push beyond the boundaries of UK rap, mixing in trap, alternative R&B, club music and Afro-influenced sounds across 21 new tracks. For production, Lancey connects with snypes, Vuko, Lee, Jay Trench, Hiko Momoji, and Lancey himself. Features wise, he keeps it lean with the sole guest spot going to Finessekid.

"It starts energetic," says Lancey of the album. "Then somewhere it gets dark and distorted. That's the reality of how I feel sometimes. Even when everything looks exciting, there's always another side to it."

THE TIME OF OUR LIVES arrives at a turning point in Lancey's life as he leaves his twenties and looks forward to his next decade on Earth. More than just a new chapter, this is about Lancey taking stock of everything he's built over the last few years, while setting out his plan for the next phase.

"People will project onto me what they want me to be," Lancey adds. "I think that's what I'm running away from all the time. When everyone turns one way, I look to go in a whole new direction altogether."
