Kwengface Drops Claustrophobic Visuals To CB-Assisted Mixtape Cut "Plankton"

August 01, 2022

The last time Kwengface and CB linked up, they came armed with crud and sharp flows on "Machines", taken from CB's A Driller's Perspective 2, and now they're back to maintain their creative allegiance with "Plankton", the latest cut to be lifted from Kwengface's latest tape YPG: The Archive.

This is another straight-talking cut from the Peckham driller who connects with Bruskiii Ky for the steady-paced, melodic beat. Over a looped vocal sample and chest-thumping 808s, both spitters touch on some of their experiences on the roads. To match the light-footed storytelling of the track, we've been blessed with some Mayowa HD-directed visuals where they deliver an understated performance of their bars, seemingly from the confines of a cell.

Aside from calling on CB to feature on the tape, Kwengface also bought together other heavyweights from the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Squeeks, Dusty Locane, French The Kid, and 26Bar.
