Recent months have seen North West London-raised singer-songwriter Kwaku Asante enjoy a steady and well-earned upward trajectory. He now caps his impressive run with his new EP, Blue Solstice: Vol. 2. The nine-track project doesn't have any features, giving Asante the space to roam around the production as he wishes and to give light to his perspective.

The project occupies a different space from Asante's past projects—the production is brighter and more uptempo than the slower R&B sound of Blue Solstice: Vol. 1. This time around, there's more funk and pop stirred in, making Vol. 2 a more uplifting listen. For that, we have a four-strong team of producers that consists of Dan Holloway, Max Cooke, Fred Cox, and Sam Posener.
