Kojey Radical Shares Astonishingly Beautiful "700 Pennies" Video f/ Shaé
There's a lot to unpack in "700 Pennies", the latest video to come from Kojey Radical, this time with the assistance of Shaé.
The single comes from his latest album In Gods Body and explores a number of themes, namely black love, the intense and overwhelming experience of falling in love, hyper-masculinity, and sexual diversity. In Kojey's words, "we followed the motif of waiting and longing for a moment of intimacy that never happens, using black love as the canvas."
In the video, directed by frequent collaborators The Rest, Kojey explores all of these themes with unrivalled artistic flair. Via his distinct poetic flow, Kojey delivers a tale of yearning, confusion and passion that is undeniably black and British, and yet his tale is one that anyone can identify with.
