Knucks Unveils 'Breaking Bad'-Inspired Visuals For Mellow "Los Pollos Hermanos"

June 09, 2021

Hailing from the depths of North London is rapper and producer Knucks with another mellow and lyrically-driven drop, "Los Pollos Hermanos". Over a lo-fi salsa/jazz production, we open with a sample from the hit series Breaking Bad before the drill-style bass drops and he delivers his spirited bars with blissful moments of a muted trumpet croon woven into the background.

The video, crafted by creative powerhouses Dir Lx and art director Anthony Hensman, incorporates elements of mixed media with still shots of Knucks to heighten the stylistic storytelling. Clocking in at 1 minute 35 seconds, it's a short experience that leaves us wanting more and guarantees an instant wheel-up.

Knucks continues to leave a mark on the UK rap scene with his down-to-earth, tongue-in-cheek bars. He previously made a guest appearance on London rapper DC's In The Loop album on the buttery "Bobby & Rowdy", a vulnerable ode to brotherhood and last October he released his EP, London Class. While we anticipate what's next for the London rapper, take in "Los Pollos Hermanos" below.
