After months of teasers and music videos, we can now exhale as Knucks has finally handed over his new project Alpha Place. While memorialising fragments of his eventful childhood in Kilburn, North London, he cements himself as a skilled storyteller and lyricist.

He invites a meticulous selection of contributors from the likes of Shaé Universe, Ragz Originale, Youngs Teflon, Lex Amor, M1llionz, Sainte, SL, Stormzy, and Venna (who is also on production duties for much of the project). Over jazz-laced melodies and cruddy drill textures, Alpha Place illuminates pieces of Knucks life from his bullet-proof friendships, elusive romantic relationships, and the mischievous days of his childhood. Although he's only listed as a feature on the opening track "Alpha House", Venna's heavenly saxophone licks remain omnipresent throughout, acting as the consistent throughline in Knucks' world.

Alongside the project release, Knucks highlights the Stormzy-accompanied track "Die Hard" with some glossy visuals and the obligatory Bruce Willis references. Director LX captures the pair in the middle of a light game of chess as they spit about leaving behind the cheap thrills in order to build a long-lasting legacy, even paying homage to the late Jamal Edwards in the closing scenes.
