Regular TRENCH readers are more than familiar with legendary UK rapper and storyteller Klashnekoff. The founding member of the legendary Terra Firma crew has revealed that he will be releasing his new 14-track album, IONA, come November.

The album is set to be the MC's fourth full-length project and is a personal and honest look into the mind of the UK rap legend. The announcement also comes with a taster of what to expect with powerful lead single "M.B.K", produced by Funky DL.

It looks as if the East London rapper will use the album as an opportunity to tell passionate and raw stories through his explosive and unapologetic lyricism. Judging by "M.B.K", it looks as if it'll be similar in tone to his most critically-acclaimed tape The Saga Of... from 2004, which gave us a glimpse into a challenging and dark period within the rapper's life. IONA, which is dedicated to Klashnekoff's late mother, is drawn from a similar headspace as he channels the grief he felt following her passing.

IONA drops November 8.
