Kimbo Takes On A Darker, Trappier Sound For Sure-Footed "Make My Way"

Appropriately enough, rapidly ascending talent Kimbo first turned our heads on cheeky, Afroswing-influenced rap cut "Neckbreaker". The fun-filled single was backed by an upbeat bounce and filled with tongue-in-cheek lyrics and an undeniable playfulness.

However, on his latest single, "Make My Way", things have taken a slightly darker turn. The Afroswing influences are gone and in their place an eerie mix of trappy electronics and UK rap moodiness courtesy of producer Capone. Still, even with all that darkness on the track, he can't keep his charm completely under wraps, peppering his bars with that razor-sharp wit and flashing his disarming grin in the black-and-white, Jargon-directed visuals below.
