KiLLOWEN Seeks Escape On 'Pub Therapy' EP

October 30, 2023

KiLLOWEN has dropped his new EP, Pub Therapy, a fresh nine-tracker he produced entirely himself.

With its slightly gloomy hue and introspective focus, it challenges what you'd expect from a garage EP. Weighed down by the pressures of modern life, the West Londoner is drawn to explore these notions as much as he feels the need to run to his favourite forms of escapism.

KiLLOWEN has been a growing name in the scene for some time now, and Pub Therapy is the crowning moment in his career so far. Having come up amongst other West London acts like p-rallel, Arlo Parks, and Finn Foxell, the project affirms that KiLLOWEN has carved out his top-tier sound.

Speaking on the EP, KiLLOWEN explains: "Pub Therapy explores the concept of using vices to access and express one's emotions. It is a journey from ignorance and innocence into the struggles of everyday life and how that can weigh on us as people. The concept of Pub Therapy can be relatable to everyone, as it is something almost everyone participates in at some point in their lives, whether they're aware of it or not. This project was a way for me to convey my struggles with imposter syndrome and dive deeper into my past and present situations in order to find out who I really am."
