Later this year, producer-turned-MC Kid D will release his debut vocal project, Substance, and he's already begun teasing out some of the singles. Joining previously-released joints "Take Me Away (Substance Intro)", "Bring It On" and "Different Class", he's now released the Novelist-assisted "Serious Choices".

Packing a similar New Wave vibe as Nov's "Stay With Me" from earlier in the year, "Serious Choices" sets the pair against smooth, dreamy synths that have been repurposed for something a little tougher. Uplifting and energetic in equal doses, the EP's fourth single suggests were in for a collection that defies classification.
