Kfromkway Gifts Us Two Tracks Of Warming Afro-Pop Melodies On 'With Love From Kway' EP
Landing just in time for the holidays, Oxford-born Kfromkway has arrived with a warming two-track EP, With Love From Kway.
Setting out his bid to shake up the landscape of UK music, the two new Afro-pop gems offer a distinctive blend of African-inspired melodies and rhythms stirred together with a few other influences.
Produced by Haks & Redz, the project begins with the light-hearted bop "Ennaji". Guided by the fuzzy guitar strums and steady rhythms, K's smooth vocals float over the production while delivering sultry melodies. "Ennaji" also comes with a fresh video directed by Don Prod, which takes place in a greenhouse overflowing with succulent plants and flowers, where K intimately bonds with a love interest.
The second offering is the track "All We Do", which shows a flip side to his sound and songwriting abilities. Again he delivers a round of ear-warming melodies, but this time he shifts his focus from romance to enjoying the luxuries life has to offer.
With a sound that could be loosely categorised alongside alté artist Odeal, it's clear Kfromkway has plenty more to offer us, which we'll hopefully get to experience in the year ahead.
