East London's KeepVibesNear Returns With Subdued R&B Track "Gently"

Returning after the hugely successful "What U Need" with Nix Northwest and Purple Cloud, East Londoner KeepVibesNear is back with a raw yet subdued new track, "Gently".

Fitting with the sound he describes as 'noir R&B', the track is notably devoid of colour and deliberately laboured, yet captures the true essence of his emotion. Almost at walking pace, the softness of "Gently" is enriched by the guest vocals of Evie Golding as KeepVibesNear aims to solve past grievances with his girl.

Meanwhile, the Sam Ripman-directed visuals are rendered in suitably bold monochrome, distinctly showcasing human emotion in raw form as KVN and his girl get to grips with their relationship.

On the track's meaning, KVN explains: "'Gently', as a song, represents the build-up in an argument with your other half. That moment at the end of an argument when you give in to your care for the other person; when you take a breath and put aside your ego. The turmoil in the verses compared to the make up in the chorus represent the balance in compromise."
