Katy B Presents 'Peace & Offerings' EP Along With Sultry "Lay Low" Visuals

November 05, 2021

After warming us up with her surprise appearance on a remix of Moses Boyd's "2 Far Gone" back in February, Katy B has made a stellar return with her new EP Peace & Offerings. The new eight-track collection features previous singles "Open Wound" featuring Jaz Karis and "Under My Skin", along with "Lay Low", which was released today with some visuals.

Produced by Mike Brainchild, the R&B-tinged single is a steady vibe as Katy serenades us with her silky-smooth vocals and romantic lyricism. In the new visuals, directed by Ash K Halliburton, Katy is presented as a certified star, delivering an elegant performance in a vintage theatre adorned by sunset lighting.

Taking to Instagram, she writes: "The peace represents me going a way for a while to get my peace of mind back, I feel like I was running on autopilot at that time of my life so I decided to take a break. When I took my foot off the gas I realised how much I needed it and what was meant to be a few months turned into a few years. I never stopped writing though and I can't wait for you to hear some of the other songs I've been working on."

This marks a new era and a new sound for the singer as she leans into her R&B influences. Hit play on the new video below and then dive into the rest of the EP at the bottom.
