Born and raised in East London, Ka'Reema has been making waves lately for her larger-than-life brand of rap, delivered with a playful wit and always capped off with a memorable hook. Her latest release is "Statements" and it's the ideal introduction for anyone unfamiliar.

Fast-talking as always, here Ka'Reema's punchy, light-footed flow comes with a light and bubbly instrumental from prolific hit-maker Michelin Shin. On the visual side, director Jalen Gravesande, does well to capture her big personality with shots of Ka'Reema looming large over the capital and taking her place as the face on the £50 note.
