Kano Gives Another Promising Taste Of 'Hoodies All Summer' With Kojo Funds-Assisted "Pan-Fried"
Last month, Kano announced his new album Hoodies All Summer with "Class Of Deja", a glorious celebration of grime's history alongside his old N.A.S.T.Y Crew alumni D Double E and Ghetts. That was soon followed up by "Trouble" and now, ahead of the August 30 release date, we've got the album's third single, "Pan-Fried", with some deeply soulful vocals from Kojo Funds.
Upbeat and full of life, "Pan-Fried" sees Kano and Kojo hopscotch over constantly shifting beats and samples, skipping across steel drums, rap rhythms, soul samples and a few other vibes.
Even though it's only been a couple of years since Made In The Manor, it feels like a life time ago and the more we hear of Hoodies All Summer, the more we suspect we have a new classic on the way.
Updated on August 29: the official video has now been released.
