Soul Singer Kaisha Is Trying To Break Out Of Her Own Personal Groundhog Day On "Tell Me"

Born and raised in Malaysia but now based in Brighton, rising singer-songwriter Kaisha only released her debut single "Shoulda Known" this year, but she's already hit her stride as she drops off her third single "Tell Me".

The new single builds on the relaxed, soulful mode she found with the last two singles, but beneath it all there's a relatable tale of frustration. Exploring the age-old story of a relationship that keeps going through the same problems over and over again, the question is: at what point do you step back and realise you have to call it quits?

Sharing her thoughts behind the track, she explained, "'Tell Me' is when things keep falling apart even when you glue them together. It's like climbing up a hill and ending up back at the starting line before you've even reached the peak.

"This track talks about the exhausting and toxic cycle that two people can get caught up in, with both people refusing to leave with the only way out."
