Kadeem Tyrell Is At His Stylish And Seductive Best On "Simple Man"

Everyone's always talking about how bright UK R&B is shining right now and for that we have people people like South London's Kadeem Tyrell to thank. He first made his name vocalling silky garage slow jams, but it's his recent R&B outings where he's really hit his stride.

The latest creation is "Simple Man", an ultra stylish and super seductive cut that simultaneously nods to the greats of the '90s/2000s and pushes things hurtling into the future. A chunk of the credit for that should go to the behind-the-scenes team of producer Baker Aaron and the ever-brilliant Ego Ella May, who co-wrote the track with Tyrell.

The new track is taken from as-yet-untitled EP, which is due for release later in the year. In addition to contributions from Ego Ella May, you can also expect an appearance from soul legend Omar and multi-talented producer JD. Reid.

Press play on director James Campayne's razor sharp visuals below to see Tyrell in his finest Avirex jacket and bucket hat.
