It's been a long time coming, but Kadeem Tyrell has just dropped his debut album, As Time Goes By.

The new EP follows swiftly on from the release of "Let Me Know (The Cypher)", a new version of the disarmingly smooth 2018 single with added contributions from Shaé Universe and Geovarn.

Also featured on the album are Baker Aaron, XVR BLCK, Morgan Munroe, and British neo-soul icon and genuine legend Omar. Baker Aaron also produces the bulk of the album, with the remaining instrumentals coming from Cay Caleb, R-Kay, JD. Reid, Vivyen, and Ruby Francis, with extra contributions from Ego Ella May, Pia Morris, Harun Iyicil, and Tazmin Tejan-Sie.

Omar's appearance isn't the only time the '90s R&B sound makes itself heard on the album; in fact, the whole project is steeped in that era, from the laid-back bounce of "Let Me Know" to the recurring use of silky smooth harmonies (something of a running theme for the South Londoner).
