K-Trap has just shared his latest project, TRAPO II.

A sequel to the 2021 original, it features Headie One, Nemzzz, Len, Oxlade, Young Adz, W1ZZY, Masicka, Isabel, 36 and G Herbo. Key track "Can't Relate" with Young Adz has already invaded the charts.

The first iteration of TRAPO proved to be a fan favourite when it dropped and in many ways, TRAPO II is the perfect follow-up. Where the original was a rebuttal to critics who doubted his ability to switch things up, the sequel takes that further with sharp left turns and some surprising moves he's kept from us, pulling on dancehall, Afrobeats and Stateside hip-hop and more.

In a statement, K-Trap explains the Trapo moniker and where the boundary is between the two: "K-Trap and TRAPO are the same, but they're kind of different in terms of how I feel. TRAPO is when I get in my bag. When I'm in that mode, I just go full steam ahead, and I'm going for it. I wanted to recreate that feeling for myself."

Earlier this month, K-Trap teased some of the tracks from the album (along with some classics from his catalog) at a pop-up gig in Islington with Reebok.
