K-Trap & Headie One Announce Joint Mixtape 'Strength To Strength' With "Park Chinois" Video
Word of K-Trap and Headie One's collaborative project has been rising in volume in the past weeks and now we have official confirmation that a tape is on the way. Titled Strength To Strength, the new 10-tracker will be available from September 22.
Trapo and Headie have been two of the hardest in rap and drill since they first emerged in the mid-2010s, so the two linking up now is a testament to their longevity and evolution. In those days, neither MC would be caught in public without a balaclava to protect their identity. Now, however, things are different and they fully embrace the spoils of their success out in the open, as seen in the Suave-directed video for "Park Chinois", which arrives alongside the announcement.
"Park Chinois" is produced by Carns Hill, another long-time collaborator of Trapo's and this dramatic new instrumental sets a menacing tone, blending the stick talk of drill with the lavish flexes of rap. Following on from first extract, "Catfish", both tracks make for a fitting introduction to the project.
