Nia Archives Injects Heatwave Jungle Vibes Into Jorja Smith's Recent Hit "Little Things"
Both on a hot streak, even by their lofty standards, Nia Archives and Jorja Smith have united on "Little Things Remix". With the original, Jorja Smith already had a strong contender for song of the summer; the feel-good vibes and the garage bounce were infectious and ready-made to soundtrack yet-to-be-made memories from this summer. With Nia Archives applying her Midas touch on it, the remix is a much more jumpy affair. As the standard bearer of new-gen jungle, Nia has pulled "Little Things" right into her realm—and too great effect.
Although it has a new and different energy to the original, the new summer-ready remix still stays true to the carefree joyousness of the original. Sharing her thoughts on her new remix, Nia comments: "'Little Things is a big summer tune!! As soon as I heard it I had to flip it into a little jungle riddim in my sets! I've been playing it out the past few weeks and it's going offfff—all tha girlies have been luvin it which is cute."
The two has delivered a DIY-style visualiser as well. Just one shot, Nia and Jorja in front of a green screen with just two turntables and a microphone, the video is reminiscent of Tim and Barry's signature visual style. Watch it below.
