Jords, D Double E And Izzy Bizu Raise A Glass To 2000s Garage On "Old School Flex"

September 10, 2021

Following a stellar performance of "Rice & Ps" for COLORS and a link-up with Masego and Kadiata on the bouncy "Enemies", Jords returns with another top class collaboration, "Old School Flex".

Assisted by D Double E and Izzy Bizu, "Old School Flex" is Jords' ode to a special moment in the 2000s. Guided by minimal production and 2-step percussions, both rappers spit back and forth about the days of garage and funky topped off with Izzy Bizu's sugar-sweet vocals gliding over the chorus.

Jords comments: "'Old School Flex' is my ode to the 2000s. I want people to be able to travel through time whilst listening to this and be able to put themselves right in the middle of a sweaty garage rave — even if they're listening to this song during a nice day party in the summer."

"Old School Flex" arrives after the announcement of Jords' social initiative, Pickni Uniforms, which is providing free school blazers for secondary school students across the borough of Croydon.

As Jords continues to ascend through the ranks with his lyrical storytelling and evolving soundscapes, tune in to the nostalgic "Old School Flex".
